  1  1    Amend House File 540 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking page 2, line 18, through page 3,
  1  3 line 9, and inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  NEW SECTION.  19A.12B  STATE DEFERRED
  1  5 COMPENSATION ADMINISTRATION REVOLVING FUND.
  1  6    A deferred compensation administration revolving
  1  7 fund is established in the state treasury under the
  1  8 control of the department.  All mutual fund
  1  9 contributions of employees participating in the
  1 10 deferred compensation program shall be deposited into
  1 11 the revolving fund.  The department shall authorize
  1 12 disbursements from the revolving fund for the
  1 13 investment of participants' contributions.
  1 14    An annual report outlining the deferred
  1 15 compensation administration expenses shall be made
  1 16 available upon request.  Notwithstanding section 8.33,
  1 17 any unencumbered or unobligated moneys in the
  1 18 revolving fund at the end of a fiscal year shall not
  1 19 revert to the general fund of the state."
