  1  1    Amend House File 299 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 34 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "   .  Sample collections shall be obtained so that
  1  5 a portion of the sample shall be retained and stored
  1  6 by the employer, sufficient in quantity to conduct
  1  7 drug or alcohol testing as well as confirmatory
  1  8 testing, and made available to an employee or
  1  9 prospective employee if a confirmed positive drug or
  1 10 alcohol test is reported to the employer.  The sample
  1 11 retained and stored by the employer pursuant to this
  1 12 paragraph shall be destroyed upon receipt of a
  1 13 confirmed negative drug or alcohol test result or if
  1 14 the employee or prospective employee so requests in
  1 15 writing."
  1 16    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
