BILLS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR
Communications were received announcing that on April 9, 1996, the
Governor approved and transmitted to the Secretary of State the
following bills:
SENATE FILE 2110 - Relating to the establishment of an anatomical
gift public awareness and transplantation fund to be administered by and
an anatomical gift public awareness advisory committee to be established
within the Iowa Department of Public Health.
SENATE FILE 2299 - Relating top reserve peace officers obtaining or
renewing professional permits to carry weapons.
PRESENTATION OF VISITORS
The Chair welcomed the following visitors who were present in the
Senate gallery:
Twenty-three eighth grade students from Southeast Junior High
School, Iowa City, accompanied by Joyce Carman and Greg Kubert. Senator
Neuhauser.
Thirteen twelfth grade students from Southeast Webster Community
Schools, Burnside, accompanied by Jim Ainslie. Senator Halvorson.
