Senate File 2349 On motion of Senator Connolly, Senate File 2349, a bill for an act relating to transportation by granting the state department of transportation condemnation rights for utility facility replacement, providing for entry onto private property for sounding and drilling, and providing for release of retained funds for public improvements, placed on the Unfinished Business Calendar on March 20, 1996, was taken up for consideration. Senator Connolly offered amendment S-5410 filed by him on March 19, 1996, to pages 1-3 and to the title page of the bill and moved its adoption. Amendment S-5410 was adopted by a voice vote. Senator Connolly asked and received unanimous consent that House File 2419 be substituted for Senate File 2349 as amended.
