    for appointment for a term beginning May 1, 1996, and ending April 30,
    1998.

         As members of the State Board of Education pursuant to Section
    256.3 for terms beginning May 1, 1996, and ending April 30, 2002:

         Susan J. Clouser, Johnston, Polk County, for appointment; Corine A.
    Hadley, Newton, Jasper County, for reappointment; Mary Jean Montgomery,
    Spencer, Clay County, for reappointment and Gene E. Vincent, Carroll,
    Carroll County, for appointment.

         As members of the State Board of Examiners for Nursing Home
    Administrators pursuant to Section 155.2 for terms beginning May 1,
    1996, and ending April 30, 1999:

         Karen L. Bossard, Jefferson, Greene County, for reappointment and
    Rosemary Schrack, Tama, Tama County, for appointment.

         Roger L. Lande, Muscatine, Muscatine County, for appointment as a
    member of the State Board of Regents pursuant to Section 262.2 for a
    term beginning May 1, 1996, and ending April 30, 2001.

         As members of the State Racing and Gaming Commission pursuant to
    Section 99D.5:

         Jacquelyne I. Allen, Lamoni, Decatur County, for appointment for a
    term beginning May 1, 1996, and ending April 30, 1998; Willard Bill R.
    Hansen, Des Moines, Polk County, for appointment for a term beginning
    May 1, 1996, and ending April 30, 1999, and Rita D. Sealock, Council
    Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, for reappointment for a term beginning May
    1, 1996, and ending April 30, 1999.

         Russell L. Brandes, Hancock, Pottawattamie County, for appointment
    as a member of the State Soil Conservation Committee pursuant to Section
    161A.4 for a term beginning February 16, 1996, and ending April 30,
    1997.

         For reappointment as members of the State Transportation Commission
    pursuant to Section 307.3 for terms beginning May 1, 1996, and ending
    April 30, 2000:

         Janice M. Johnson, Waverly, Bremer County, and Bonnie L. Vetter,

         As members of the Wallace Technology Transfer Foundation pursuant
