         Amendment S-5223 was adopted.

         Senator Iverson filed the following motion to reconsider from the
    floor and moved its adoption:

         MR. PRESIDENT: I move to reconsider the vote by which amendment
    S-5203 to Senate File 2037 was adopted by the Senate on March 6, 1996.

         The motion lost by a voice vote.

         The Chair ruled amendment S-5228 filed by Senators Iverson and
    Husak from the floor to pages 1-4 of the bill, out of order.

         Senator Kibbie moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.

         On the question Shall the bill pass? (S.F. 2037) the vote was:

         Rule 23, requiring all Senators present to vote except those who
    express a conflict of interest, was invoked.
