                              CONSIDERATION OF BILL

    Senate File 2168

         On motion of Senator Deluhery, Senate File 2168, a bill for an act
    updating the Iowa Code references to the Internal Revenue Code and
    providing a retroactive applicability date and an effective date, was
    taken up for consideration.

         Senator Lind offered amendment S-5103 filed by him from the floor
    to pages 1 and 2 of the bill.

         Senator Deluhery asked and received unanimous consent that action
    on amendment S-5103 and Senate File 2168 be deferred.
