$ 16,946,094 FTEs 401.82 d. State mental health institute at Mount Pleasant: $ 4,837,324 FTEs 82.48 2. Within the funds appropriated in this section, the department may reallocate funds as necessary to best fulfill the needs of the institutions provided for in the appropriation. 3. As part of the discharge planning process at the state mental health institutes, the department shall provide assistance in obtaining eligibility for federal supplemental security income (SSI) to those individuals whose care at a state mental health institute is the financial responsibility of the state. Sec. 14. HOSPITAL-SCHOOLS. There is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the department of human services for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997, the following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purposes designated: For the state hospital-schools, for salaries, support, maintenance, and miscellaneous purposes and for not more than the following full-time equivalent positions: $ 62,029,824 FTEs 1,516.00 1. The funds appropriated and full-time equivalent positions authorized in this section are allocated as follows: a. State hospital-school at Glenwood: $ 35,070,700 FTEs 872.50 b. State hospital-school at Woodward: $ 26,959,124 FTEs 643.50 2. Within the funds appropriated in this section, the department may reallocate funds as necessary to best fulfill the needs of the institutions provided for in the appropriation. Sec. 15. MENTAL ILLNESS SPECIAL SERVICES. There is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the department of human services for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997, the following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purpose designated: For mental illness special services: $ 121,220 1.
