3 1. Page 3, by inserting after line 5 the 4 following: 5 "6. In addition to any other sentence imposed on a 6 person convicted of a sexually predatory offense 7 pursuant to subsection 1, 2, or 3, the person shall be 8 sentenced to an additional term of parole or work 9 release not to exceed two years. The board of parole 10 shall determine whether the person should be released 11 on parole or placed in a work release program. The 12 sentence of parole supervision shall commence 13 immediately upon the person's release by the board of 14 parole and shall be under the terms and conditions as 15 set out in chapter 906. Violations of parole or work 16 release shall be subject to the procedures set out in 17 chapter 905 or 908 or rules adopted under those 18 chapters. For purposes of disposition of a parole 19 violator upon revocation of parole or work release, 20 the sentence of an additional term of parole or work 21 release shall be considered part of the original term 22 of commitment to the department of corrections." The motion prevailed and the House concurred in the Senate amendment H-5646. Grubbs of Scott moved that the bill, as amended by the Senate and concurred in by the House, be read a last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last time.
