HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED
The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the
House:
MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
House has on April 20, 1995, passed the following bills in which the
concurrence of the House was asked:
Senate File 286, a bill for an act concerning workers compensation
by providing for the computing of gross weekly earnings for volunteer
ambulance drivers, emergency medical technician trainees, and seasonal
workers, and relating to judicial review of workers compensation
contested cases.
Senate File 293, a bill for an act relating to providing for a
five-year minimum prison term for a person who uses a dangerous weapon
in the commission of a forcible felony.
ALSO: That the House has on April 20, 1995, amended and passed the
following bills in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked:
Senate File 394, a bill for an act relating to instruments filed
or recorded with the county recorder (S-3507).
Senate File 427, a bill for an act relating to authorizing the
payment of salaries to senior judges, providing for a maximum retirement
annuity amount paid to senior judges, affecting senior judge retirement
benefits, the appointment of judges to senior judge status, and
providing effective and applicability dates (S-3508).
ALSO: That the House has on April 20, 1995, concurred in the Senate
amendment to the House amendment, and passed the following bill in which
the concurrence of the House was asked:
Senate File 290, a bill for an act relating to motor vehicle and
highway regulation by the state department of transportation concerning
retention of records and documents, registration plates and stickers,
dissolution decree transfers of motor vehicle titles, junking
certificates for abandoned vehicles, flashing blue lights, motorcycle
license requirements, leased motor vehicles, proof of financial
responsibility, charges for handicapped identification devices, single
