Pursuant to Senate Rule 59, the committee on Ways and Means
assigned to investigate the following governors appointments, completed
its investigation on April 4, 1995, and recommended the appointees be
confirmed:
Gerald D. Bair as Director of the Department of Revenue and
Finance.
Darwin T. Lynner, Jr. as a member of the Iowa Finance Authority.
PRESENTATION OF VISITORS
The Chair welcomed the following visitors who were present in the
Senate gallery:
Members of Girl Scout Troops 848 and 17, Winterset, accompanied by
Roxann Rhoads. Senator Douglas.
Fifth grade students from Pleasant Valley School District,
