                      REPORT OF THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE

         MR. PRESIDENT: Pursuant to Senate Rule 21, I report that in
    engrossing Senate File 458, the following corrections were made:

         1. Page 10, line 16, the words and numbers sections 18, 19, 21, and
    22 were changed to the words and numbers sections 17, 18, 20, and 21.

         2. Page 10, line 21, the word and number Section 11 were changed to
    the word and number Section 10.

                                    PETITION

         The following petition was presented and placed on file by:

         Senator Maddox from 54 residents of Polk County favoring true
    parental notification of a parent or legal guardian prior to performance
    of an abortion on a minor (definition of parent would exclude
    grandparents, siblings or other relatives) and providing for a judicial
    bypass.



                            PRESENTATION OF VISITORS

         The Chair welcomed the following visitors who were present in the
    Senate gallery:

         Members of Boy Scout Troop 321 from Winfield, accompanied by Scout
    Master Connop. Senator Vilsack.



                              MOTION TO RECONSIDER

         MR. PRESIDENT: I move to reconsider the vote by which Senate File
    453 failed to pass the Senate on April 4, 1995.
