                     CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNORS APPOINTMENTS

                         (En Bloc Confirmation Calendar)

         In accordance with Senate Rule 59, Senator Horn called up the
    following eligible appointees on the En Bloc Confirmation Calendar:

         Susanne E. Wolrab as a member of the Board of Cosmetology Arts and
    Sciences Examiners.

         James W. Barr as a member of the Board of Mortuary Science
    Examiners.

         Bertrum Bidne as a member of the Commission of Elder Affairs.

         Dennis D. Killion as a member of the Council on Human Services.

         Christine M. Van Meter as a member of the County Finance Committee.

         Patricia A. Berding and Diane L. Kollasch as members of the Credit
    Union Review Board.

         Geraldine M. Leinen as a member of the Iowa Ethics and Campaign
    Disclosure Board.

         Donald S. Lynn as a member of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy
    Council.

         Bernard L. Bidne as a member of the Iowa State Civil Rights
    Commission.

         Monica H. Kurtz as a member of the Prevention of Disabilities
    Policy Council.

         Thomas L. Aller as a member of the State Transportation Commission.

         Senator Horn moved that the foregoing appointees be confirmed by
    the Senate.

         On the question Shall the appointees be confirmed? the vote was:
