    Senate File 10

         The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 10, a bill for an
    act relating to the appointment and senate confirmation of the executive
    director of the office of the state board of regents and providing an
    effective date, deferred February 28, 1995.

         Senator Rife offered amendment S-3135 filed by him on March 20,
    1995, to page 1 of the bill, moved its adoption, and requested a record
    roll call.

         On the question Shall amendment S-3135 be adopted? (S.F. 10) the
