                                AFTERNOON SESSION

         The Senate reconvened at 2:40 p.m., President Boswell presiding.



                           INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

         Senate Resolution 6, by Giannetto, a senate resolution relating to
    the provision of laptop computers for each senators desk.

         Read first time and passed on file.



                                   QUORUM CALL

         Senator Horn requested a non record roll call to determine that a
    quorum was present.

         The vote revealed 45 present, 5 absent and a quorum present.



                             CONSIDERATION OF BILLS

                               (Regular Calendar)

    Senate File 82

         On motion of Senator Hammond, Senate File 82, a bill for an act
    relating to medical assistance provisions including those relating to
    presumptive eligibility for pregnant women and the estates and trusts of
    recipients of medical assistance,  was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Hammond withdrew amendment S-3032, filed by her on February
    7, 1995, to page 1 of the bill.

         Senator Hammond offered amendment S-3038 filed by her on February
    8, 1995, to page 1 and the title page  of the bill and moved its
    adoption.

         Amendment S-3038 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Hammond moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.
