COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION POLICY
Final Bill Action: SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 15 (SSB 86), a
concurrent resolution requesting that the Congress of the United States
direct the Health Care Financing Administration to establish a national
policy no later than July 1, 1995, for Medicare reimbursement of
telemedicine services.
Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE RESOLUTION.
Final Vote: Ayes, 6: Dvorsky, Deluhery, Flynn, Hansen, Jensen and
Redfern. Nays, none. Absent or not voting, 1: McLaren.
Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.
JUDICIARY
Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 124 (SSB 78), a bill for an act relating
to access to certain adoption records by the subject of the record.
Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.
Final Vote: Ayes, 15: Giannetto, Vilsack, McKean, Bartz, Bisignano,
Boettger, Drake, Fraise, Halvorson, Hammond, Hansen, Maddox, Neuhauser,
Redfern and Szymoniak. Nays, none.
