         The following petitions were presented and placed on file by:

         Senator Black from 82,000 residents of Jasper and Poweshiek
    Counties and other areas of Iowa favoring legislation reinstating the
    death penalty for those convicted of abduction and the resultant death
    of the person(s) abducted.
