                              IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

         Senator Husak asked and received unanimous consent that House
    Concurrent Resolutions 1, 2 and 3 be immediately messaged to the House.



                           INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

         Senate Joint Resolution 1, by Murphy and Boswell, a joint
    resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of
    Iowa requiring the maintenance of a cash reserve.

         Read first time and assigned to the committee on Appropriations.



                                     RECESS

         On motion of Senator Husak, the Senate recessed at 11:46 a.m.,
    until 1:15 p.m.
