Ways and Means Calendar House File 572, a bill for an act relating to imposing a prison and jail surcharge on scheduled fines and forfeitures and providing for the appropriation and disposition of the proceeds from the surcharge for prisons and jails, was taken up for consideration. Shoultz of Black Hawk offered the following amendment H-4104 filed by him and moved its adoption:
