IMMEDIATE MESSAGE Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent that House File 197 be immediately messaged to the Senate. The House resumed consideration of House File 471, a bill for an act relating to prison time served by persons convicted of an aggravated misdemeanor or greater offense, by providing for changes in the mandatory minimum terms of sentences to be served, by permitting the imposition of up to ninety days of the total sentence in a county jail in addition to any terms of probation, and providing for a reduction in the amount of good and honor time that may be earned by forcible felons, previously deferred and the Senate amendment H-3928 pending.
