Page 4, by inserting after line 16 the 4 following: 5 "Sec. ___. Section 321J.20, Code 1995, is amended 6 by adding the following new subsection: 7 NEW SUBSECTION. 6. Following the minimum period 8 of ineligibility, a temporary restricted license under 9 this section shall not be issued until such time as 10 the applicant installs an ignition interlock device of 11 a type approved by the commissioner of public safety 12 on all motor vehicles owned or operated by the 13 applicant, in accordance with section 321J.4, 14 subsection 7. Installation of an ignition interlock 15 device under this section shall be required for the 16 period of time for which the temporary restricted 17 license is issued, but no longer than one year, unless 18 the court order under section 321J.4, subsection 7, 19 provides for a longer period of time." 20 2.
