The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to have passed the House and the title was agreed to. IMMEDIATE MESSAGE Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent that House File 553 be immediately messaged to the Senate. MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE The following messages were received from the Senate: Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the Senate has on April 12, 1995, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate was asked: House File 512, a bill for an act appropriating funds to the department of economic development, the Iowa finance authority, the Wallace technology transfer foundation, division of insurance of the department of commerce, the Iowa seed capital corporation, the international development foundation, the public employment relations board, and the department of employment services, making related statutory changes, and providing an immediate effective date. Also: That the Senate has on April 12, 1995, concurred in the House amendment and passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate was asked: Senate File 141, a bill for an act relating to notice for vacating and closing roads. Also: That the Senate has on April 12, 1995, concurred in the House amendment and passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate was asked: Senate File 214, a bill for an act to provide greater protection for consumers who purchase or lease motor vehicles and providing effective dates. Also: That the Senate has on April 12, 1995, amended the House amendment, concurred in the House amendment as amended, and passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked: Senate File 462, a bill for an act relating to appropriations for the department of human services and the prevention of disabilities policy council and including other provisions and appropriations involving human services and health care and providing for effective and applicability dates.
