HOUSE STUDY BILL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT H.S.B. 326.1 Judiciary To legalize the proceedings taken by the board of supervisors and county auditor of Mahaska county regarding the levy of a local option sales tax to finance the construction and maintenance of a county jail and providing an effective date. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS MR. ISAACSON Chief Clerk of the House COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS Senate File 459, a bill for an act relating to and making appropriations to the department of justice, office of consumer advocate, board of parole, department of corrections, judicial district departments of correctional services, judicial department, state public defender, Iowa law enforcement academy, department of public defense, and for the department of public safety's administration, division of criminal investigation and bureau of identification, division of narcotics enforcement, undercover purchases, and the state fire marshal's office, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1995, and providing effective dates and retroactive applicability. Fiscal Note is not required.
