H.S.B. 296 Ways and Means Relating to the assessment of certain long distance telephone companies for purposes of property taxation. H.S.B. 297 Environmental Protection Relating to underground storage tanks by increasing environmental protection charge limitations, changing site cleanup requirements, expanding loan guarantees and property transfer insurance, relating to prioritization, requiring a study, and providing an effective date. H.S.B. 298 State Government Relating to the office of secretary of state, the conduct of elections, and the registration of voters in the state and relating to corrective and technical changes to Iowa's election laws. H.S.B. 299 State Government Relating to ethics and campaign finance, by providing for limitations on contributions made to candidates during an election, by making changes in the definition of the term lobbyist, by making changes in personal financial disclosure requirements, and by requiring lobbyists to submit an account of all salaries, fees, and retainers paid to the lobbyist by each of their clients. H.S.B. 300 Education Relating to vocational education, including school-to-work planning initiatives and a waiver of vocational education rules, and making an appropriation. H.S.B. 301 Ways and Means Authorizing certain cities to appoint a board of review to hear city taxpayer appeals.
