H.S.B. 179 State Government
Relating to the abolishment of the department of human rights,
transfer of its various divisions to other entities of state
government, and providing effective dates.
H.S.B. 180 Education
Relating to the transmission of a course via the Iowa
communications network by postsecondary education institutions
in Iowa.
H.S.B. 181 Judiciary
Relating to the release or detention of certain criminal
defendants pending sentencing or appeal following conviction.
H.S.B. 182 Human Resources
Relating to activities of the department of human services,
including provisions involving the state hospital-schools and
other institutions, commitments of persons with mental
retardation, and the department's public housing unit.
