  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  46.26  CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
  1  2 DEFINED.
  1  3    As used in this chapter, "congressional district" means
  1  4 those districts established following the federal decennial
  1  5 census of 1960 and described in chapter 40 of the 1966 Code of
  1  6 Iowa.  
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    This bill provides that, for the purpose of electing and
  1  9 appointing state judicial nominating commissioners from each
  1 10 of Iowa's congressional districts, the number of districts
  1 11 shall be that number established after the 1960 federal
  1 12 decennial census and described in chapter 40 of the 1966 Code
  1 13 of Iowa.
