1 1 Section 1. DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. There is
1 2 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 3 department of economic development for the fiscal year
1 4 beginning July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996, to
1 5 supplement the appropriation made in 1995 Iowa Acts, chapter
1 6 204, section 1, subsection 5, paragraph "b", the following
1 7 amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the
1 8 purpose designated:
1 9 For tourism advertising:
1 10 .................................................. $ 2,000,000
1 11 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated in this
1 12 section which remain unencumbered or unobligated at the close
1 13 of the fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund of the
1 14 state but shall remain available for the purpose designated in
1 15 the succeeding fiscal year.
1 16 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act, being deemed of
1 17 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
1 18 EXPLANATION
1 19 The bill makes a supplemental appropriation for the 1995-
1 20 1996 fiscal year to the department of economic development.
1 21 The bill takes effect upon enactment.
