Senate Study Bill 173

  1  1    Section 1.  Section 483A.1A, Code 1995, is amended by
  1  2 adding the following new subsection:
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  4.  "Resident" includes a nonresident
  1  4 person under the age of eighteen years whose noncustodial
  1  5 parent is a resident of this state.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill defines resident to include a nonresident person
  1  8 under 18 years of age whose noncustodial parent is a resident
  1  9 of this state, for the purposes of obtaining hunting, fishing,
  1 10 trapping, or similar licenses or certificates for resident
  1 11 fees.
