  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  602.6112  EXPANDED MEDIA COVERAGE
  1  2 OF JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS &endash; NOTICE.
  1  3    A motion, either of the court or a party, to close judicial
  1  4 proceedings to expanded media coverage shall not be heard
  1  5 until at least twenty-four hours have elapsed from the time
  1  6 notice of the hearing is docketed by the clerk of the district
  1  7 court.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill provides that a motion by the court or a party to
  1 10 close judicial proceedings to expanded media coverage shall be
  1 11 docketed by the clerk of the district court at least 24 hours
  1 12 prior to the hearing on the notice.
