  1  1    Section 1.  Section 135.104, subsection 3, Code 1995, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    3.  A screening program for children, with emphasis on
  1  4 children less than five six years of age.
  1  5    Sec. 2.  LEAD-POISONED PERSONS &endash; STUDY.  The Iowa
  1  6 department of public health shall organize a coalition to
  1  7 consider federal requirements concerning lead poisoning and
  1  8 develop recommendations for submission to the general assembly
  1  9 on or before January 1, 1996, for proposed legislation
  1 10 regarding lead-poisoned persons.  The coalition formed shall
  1 11 include, but is not limited to, representatives of real estate
  1 12 agents, landlords, painting contractors, lead inspectors,
  1 13 local public health officials, and consumers.
