PAG LIN 1 1 Section 1. Section 602.8105, subsection 1, paragraph c, 1 2 Code 1995, is amended to read as follows: 1 3 c. For entering a final decree of dissolution of marriage, 1 4thirtyfifty dollars. It is the intent of the general 1 5 assembly that the funds generated from the dissolution fees be 1 6 appropriated and used for sexual assault and domestic violence 1 7 centers. However, notwithstanding section 602.8108 or any 1 8 other provision of law to the contrary, ten dollars of the fee 1 9 collected for entering a final decree of dissolution of 1 10 marriage under this paragraph shall be a surcharge which the 1 11 clerk of the district court shall submit to the state court 1 12 administrator for deposit in the general fund of the state. 1 13 The surcharge moneys deposited in the general fund of the 1 14 state are appropriated to the division on the status of women 1 15 of the department of human rights to be used for the displaced 1 16 homemaker program. The appropriation of surcharge moneys to 1 17 the displaced homemaker program under this paragraph is in 1 18 addition to any other appropriation made to the program from 1 19 the general fund of the state and shall not be interpreted to 1 20 replace or supplant any other appropriation to the program. 1 21 SF 450 1 22 pf/cc/26
