PAG LIN 1 1 Amend the House amendment, S-5738, to Senate File 1 2 2464, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, 1 3 as follows: 1 4 #1. Page 1, by striking lines 7 through 22 and 1 5 inserting the following: 1 6 "A person interested in transferring real property 1 7 located in a district, or a broker or salesperson 1 8 acting on behalf of the person, shall disclose, in 1 9 accordance with chapter 558A, that the property is 1 10 located in a real estate improvement district and the 1 11 amount of any special assessment under this chapter 1 12 against the property." 1 13 # . Page 5, by striking lines 15 through 20 and 1 14 inserting the following: 1 15 "Sec. . Section 558A.4, subsection 1, Code 1 16 1995, is amended to read as follows: 1 17 1. The disclosure statement shall include 1 18 information relating to the condition and important 1 19 characteristics of the property and structures located 1 20 on the property, including significant defects in the 1 21 structural integrity of the structure, as provided in 1 22 rules which shall be adopted by the real estate 1 23 commission pursuant to section 543B.9. The disclosure 1 24 statement shall also include whether the property is 1 25 located in a real estate improvement district and the 1 26 amount of any special assessment against the property 1 27 under chapter 358C. The rules may require the 1 28 disclosure to include information relating to the 1 29 property's zoning classification; the condition of 1 30 plumbing, heating, or electrical systems; or the 1 31 presence of pests."" 1 32 #2. Page 5, by inserting after line 45 the 2 29 following: 2 30 "DIVISION 201 2 31 Sec. . APPROPRIATION. There is appropriated 2 32 from the general fund of the state to the Iowa finance 2 33 authority for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1995, 2 34 and ending June 30, 1996, the following amount, or so 2 35 much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the 2 36 purpose designated: 2 37 For assisting counties and cities in forming or 2 38 organizing housing councils: 2 39 .................................................. $ 1,000,000 2 40 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys remaining 2 41 unobligated or unexpended shall not revert but shall 2 42 remain available to the Iowa finance authority for the 2 43 purposes of this section for the fiscal year beginning 2 44 July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997. Funds 2 45 remaining unobligated on June 30, 1997, shall be 2 46 transferred to the housing improvement fund created in 2 47 section 16.100." 2 48 #11.
