  1  1    Amend the House amendment, S-5550, to Senate File
  1  2 2442, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 10, by inserting after line 16 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 38, by inserting after line 1 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "k.  For an individual who is dependent upon the
  1  9 use of a ventilator for a minimum of eighteen hours
  1 10 per day and is able to reside at the individual's home
  1 11 with the assistance of a ventilator, the medical
  1 12 equipment dealer shall be reimbursed for the actual
  1 13 costs of the backup ventilator which is used in the
  1 14 individual's home.""
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
