  1  1    Amend the House amendment, S-5550, to Senate File
  1  2 2442, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 6, line 11, by striking the figure "26."
  1  5 and inserting the following:  "26 and inserting the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "3.  The department may use available moneys
  1  8 appropriated to the department under this Act in
  1  9 making efforts to comply with the requirements of the
  1 10 state under the consent decree of Connor v. Branstad,
  1 11 No. 4-86-CV-30871 (S.D. Iowa, July 15, 1994).""
