  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5489, to House File 2449, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 8, by inserting after line 39 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.  Notwithstanding
  1  7 other sections of this Act, if any of sections 100
  1  8 through 700 of this Act, or the application of any of
  1  9 those sections, is declared unconstitutional, the
  1 10 invalidity shall not affect the provisions or
  1 11 application of this Act which can be given effect
  1 12 without the invalid provisions or application, and to
  1 13 this end, sections 100 through 700 are severable from
  1 14 this Act."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
