  1  1    Amend House File 2472, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 17 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  DOMESTIC ABUSE.  There is appropriated
  1  6 from the general fund of the state to the department
  1  7 of justice for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1996,
  1  8 and ending June 30, 1997, the following amount, or so
  1  9 much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the
  1 10 purpose designated:
  1 11    For victims of domestic abuse to be used for
  1 12 emergency shelter services as provided in section
  1 13 236.15:  
  1 14 .................................................. $  1,000,000"
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
