  1  1    Amend Senate amendment, S-5465, to House File 2472,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 17, line 1, by inserting after the word
  1  5 "facility." the following:  "However, proceeds from
  1  6 the surcharge imposed in a city which operates a jail
  1  7 shall be appropriated and transferred to the city
  1  8 general fund for use only for operation of the jail."
