  1  1    Amend House File 2458, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 14 and 15 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "An attorney who has not entered into a contract
  1  6 authorized under section 13B.4 and who is appointed by
  1  7 the court to".
  1  8    #2.  Page 2, by striking lines 24 through 28 and
  1  9 inserting the following:  "and necessary briefs in
  1 10 behalf of the defendant.  Such attorney need not
  1 11 follow the case".
