  1  1    Amend House File 2399, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 8, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "programs." the following:  "If a poor person is not
  1  5 in the county lawfully but has been recruited for
  1  6 employment in the county by an employer, the employer
  1  7 shall provide employment benefits to the person which
  1  8 are equivalent to the assistance available under this
  1  9 section to a poor person who is in the county
  1 10 lawfully."
