  1  1    Amend Senate File 2443 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 14, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "network," the following:  "and".
  1  4    #2.  Page 2, by striking lines 16 through 18 and
  1  5 inserting the following:  "technology resource and
  1  6 technology access programs:"
  1  7    #3.  Page 9, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "Sec.    .  WALLACE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FOUNDATION.
  1 10 There is appropriated from the general fund of the
  1 11 state to the Wallace technology transfer foundation
  1 12 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending
  1 13 June 30, 1997, the following amount, or so much
  1 14 thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purposes
  1 15 designated:
  1 16    For salaries, support, maintenance, miscellaneous
  1 17 purposes, for not more than the following full-time
  1 18 equivalent positions, and for allocating up to
  1 19 $150,000 to the graphic arts center and up to $100,000
  1 20 to the plastics technology center:  
  1 21 .................................................. $    350,000
  1 22 ............................................... FTEs       1.00
  1 23    The Wallace technology transfer foundation board of
  1 24 directors shall review the operations of the
  1 25 foundation including the criteria used to determine
  1 26 whether projects are funded and the relationship of
  1 27 the foundation fund to appropriations to board of
  1 28 regents institutions for research."
  1 29    #4.  Page 9, by striking lines 19 through 23.
  1 30    #5.  By renumbering as necessary.
