  1  1    Amend Senate File 2446 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 17, by inserting after line 10 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. 100.  Section 455A.18, subsection 3,
  1  5 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 1995, is amended to read
  1  6 as follows:
  1  7    For each fiscal year of the fiscal period beginning
  1  8 July 1, 1990 1997, and ending June 30, 2001 2021,
  1  9 there is appropriated from the general fund, to the
  1 10 Iowa resources enhancement and protection fund, the
  1 11 amount of thirty twenty million dollars, except that
  1 12 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1990, the amount
  1 13 is twenty million dollars, to be used as provided in
  1 14 this chapter.  However, in any fiscal year of the
  1 15 fiscal period, if moneys from the lottery are
  1 16 appropriated by the state to the fund, the amount
  1 17 appropriated under this subsection shall be reduced by
  1 18 the amount appropriated from the lottery."
  1 19    #2.  Page 17, line 20, by striking the word
  1 20 "Section" and inserting the following:
  1 21    "1.  Section".
  1 22    #3.  Page 17, by inserting after line 22 the
  1 23 following:
  1 24    "2.  Section 100 of this Act, amending section
  1 25 455A.18, takes effect July 1, 1997."
  1 26    #4.  Title page, line 3, by striking the words "an
  1 27 effective date" and inserting the following:
  1 28 "effective dates".
  1 29    #5.  By renumbering as necessary.
