  1  1    Amend Senate File 2037 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 29, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "The ordinance adopted as part of this section must
  1  5 include provisions designating parts of the county
  1  6 where residences may be constructed and parts of the
  1  7 county where residences shall not be constructed, in
  1  8 order to preserve agricultural uses in the county.
  1  9 The county shall adopt exceptions necessary for the
  1 10 construction of residences by persons actively engaged
  1 11 in agricultural production.  An agricultural land
  1 12 preservation ordinance enacted by the county pursuant
  1 13 to section 335.27 shall meet the requirements of this
  1 14 paragraph."
