1 1 Amend the House amendment, S-3679, to Senate File
1 2 266, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate,
1 3 as follows:
1 4 #1. Page 16, line 36, by striking the figure
1 5 "250,000" and inserting the following: "200,000".
1 6 #2. Page 16, by inserting after line 39 the
1 7 following:
1 8 "Sec. 706. Notwithstanding section 8.33, funds
1 9 appropriated in 1993 Iowa Acts, chapter 180, section
1 10 64, remaining unencumbered or unobligated on June 30,
1 11 1995, shall not revert to the general fund of the
1 12 state but are appropriated to and shall be available
1 13 for expenditure by the department of education for the
1 14 fiscal year beginning July 1, 1995, and ending June
1 15 30, 1996, and of those funds remaining, $50,000 shall
1 16 be expended for purposes of the parent education pilot
1 17 program established under 1994 Iowa Acts, chapter
1 18 1199, section 58, in a county with fewer than 35,000
1 19 inhabitants."
1 20 #3. Page 22, line 13, by inserting after the
1 21 figure "12" the following: ", 706".
1 22 #4. By renumbering and correcting internal
1 23 references as necessary.
