1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 26 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "All authorized users which are public school
1 6 districts or accredited nonpublic schools and which
1 7 are connected to the network or which intend to be
1 8 connected to the network prior to January 1, 1998,
1 9 shall submit to the commission a plan which contains,
1 10 at a minimum, all of the following:
1 11 (1) Anticipated date of connection.
1 12 (2) Anticipated hours of instructional and other
1 13 use of the network during the twelve-month period
1 14 immediately following connection.
1 15 (3) Anticipated number of individuals who will
1 16 benefit from the utilization of the network.
1 17 (4) A minimum of two examples of programs or
1 18 curriculum that will utilize the network.
1 19 (5) Costs which may be incurred by a political
1 20 subdivision, including the Part III site, as a result
1 21 of the connection and its use.
1 22 The plan shall be submitted to the commission by no
1 23 later than October 1, 1995. The commission shall file
1 24 a written report with the general assembly concerning
1 25 the plans submitted by no later than January 15,
1 26 1996."
