1 5 #2. Page 4, by striking lines 16 and 17 and
1 6 inserting the following:
1 7 "3. STUDY RELATING TO SALE OR CONVERSION OF
1 8 NETWORK."
1 9 #3. Page 5, by inserting after line 20 the
1 10 following:
1 11 "Upon the appropriation of the funds in this
1 12 section to the Iowa communications network fund, the
1 13 Iowa telecommunications and technology commission
1 14 shall immediately transfer $12,783,000 of the
1 15 appropriated amount to a separate fund established in
1 16 the office of the treasurer of state, to be used
1 17 solely for debt service for the Iowa communications
1 18 network. The commission shall certify to the
1 19 treasurer of state when a debt service payment is due,
1 20 and upon receipt of the certification the treasurer
1 21 shall make the payment. The commission shall pay any
1 22 additional amount due from funds deposited in the Iowa
1 23 communications network fund."
