  1  1    Amend House File 486, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 5, by striking lines 5 through 10.
  1  4    #2.  Page 31, by inserting after line 30 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  523A.23  MINIMUM FIDELITY
  1  7 BOND OR INSURANCE POLICY.
  1  8    The seller, in connection with an offer or sale of
  1  9 an agreement referred to in section 523A.1, shall
  1 10 obtain and maintain at all times a fidelity bond or
  1 11 insurance policy covering losses resulting from
  1 12 dishonest or fraudulent acts committed by employees of
  1 13 the seller which cause a loss, theft, or
  1 14 misappropriation of cash, property, or a negotiable
  1 15 instrument submitted to the seller pursuant to the
  1 16 agreement.  The fidelity bond or insurance policy must
  1 17 be maintained in an amount not less than fifty
  1 18 thousand dollars."

  1 21 following:
