  1  1    Amend Senate File 431 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 11, by inserting after line 35 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  NONPUBLIC ASSISTANCE RECIPIENTS CHILD
  1  5 SUPPORT RECOVERY COSTS &endash; EVALUATION AND
  1  6 RECOMMENDATIONS.  The child support recovery unit
  1  7 shall evaluate the costs of services provided by the
  1  8 unit to nonpublic assistance recipients of services
  1  9 and shall submit a report to the general assembly on
  1 10 or before January 1, 1996, which includes
  1 11 recommendations and budget requests for coverage of
  1 12 these costs which are alternatives to payment of any
  1 13 fees by nonpublic assistance recipients of child
  1 14 support.  An alternative to payment of fees by
  1 15 nonpublic assistance recipients of child support shall
  1 16 be implemented on or before July 1, 1996."
  1 17    #2.  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 18 word "including" the following:  "alternative measures
  1 19 for payment of costs for nonpublic assistance
  1 20 services,".
  1 21    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
