1 1 Section 1. Section 331.427, subsection 2, Code 1995, is
1 2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
1 3 NEW PARAGRAPH. m. Closure and postclosure care of a
1 4 sanitary disposal project under section 455B.302.
1 5 EXPLANATION
1 6 This bill authorizes the board of supervisors of a county
1 7 to make appropriations from the general fund of the county for
1 8 closure and postclosure care of a sanitary disposal project.
1 9 Section 455B.302 requires every county to provide for the es-
1 10 tablishment and operation of a sanitary disposal project for
1 11 final disposal of solid waste by its residents.
