  1  1    Section 1.  Section 455B.171, subsection 3, Code 1995, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    3.  "Contractor" means a person engaged in the business of
  1  4 well construction or reconstruction or other well services,
  1  5 including pump installation.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill includes pump installers within the definition of
  1  8 contractor for purposes of requiring certification under the
  1  9 well contractor certification program under section 455B.190A.
