1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 481A.11A DEER-MOTOR VEHICLE
1 2 COLLISIONS – PAYMENT OF DEDUCTIBLES.
1 3 Upon application and verification, the department shall pay
1 4 a claim for the amount of an insurance deductible paid by the
1 5 claimant as a result of an accident involving the claimant's
1 6 motor vehicle and one or more deer. The claims shall be paid
1 7 from the state fish and game protection fund.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill provides that the department of natural
1 10 resources, upon application and verification, shall pay the
1 11 amount of an insurance deductible which was paid by the
1 12 claimant as a result of an accident involving the claimant's
1 13 motor vehicle and one or more deer. The claims shall be paid
1 14 from the state fish and game protection fund.
